  JUMING museum

Ju Ming, original named as Ju Chuan-tai, was born in Miaoli, Tongsiao, in 1938. He was the eleventh child in his family. When he was born, his parents’ combined age was 92 years, so his nickname was “nine two.” Though he was from a poor family and his parents were always busy keeping the wolf from the door, his education did not suffer at all. Ju Ming sat in the first row of his classes, but he did not understand much. ....

  Yehliu Geopark

The total distance measured from the entrance of the Yehliu Geopark to the end of the cape is about 1.7 km; the widest area in between is shorter than 300 m. The distance measured from Yehliu Stop at Jijin Highway to the end of the cape is about 2.4km. The rock landscape of Yehliu Geopark is one of most famous wonders in the world. The costal line is stretching in a direction vertical to the layer and the structure line; besides, the influences caused by wave attack, rock weathering, earth movement and crustal movement all contribute to the formation of such a rare and stunning geological landscape. ...

  National Palace Museum

The National Palace Museum houses the world's largest collection of priceless Chinese art treasures, one which spans China's nearly 5,000-year history. Most of the museum's 620,000 art objects were part of the Chinese imperial collection, which began over 1,000 years ago in the early Song dynasty.


  Taipei 101

Taipei 101, with a mass of shops on the lower floors, incorporating many top brands under the LVMH group, such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Celine, etc. The fourth floor houses the Page One bookstore from Singapore, with the highest-roofed coffee house in Taipei and many fine restaurants.
